1998: Creation of the Avogadro company in Fontenilles (near Toulouse), France – specializing in In Life studies for both human and animal research (as model and target species).
2013: Avogadro is integrated in the Amatsigroup company, a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization offering services for in vivo studies, bioanalysis, pharmaceutical analysis, formulation development and manufacturing, and clinical trial supply (packaging & logistics).
2016: Creation of the legal entity Avogadro LS, as a specialized contract research organization for In life studies.

Michela Cantiello DVM, PhD
Pharmacology and Toxicology
Michela has over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong track record in the conduct of veterinary pharmaceutical studies. After an academic research career in Italy (Researcher and Lecturer, Universities of Padova and Turin) and France (Research Fellow, INRA and INSERM), Michela was a Study Director at Amatsigroup for 6 years before becoming the director of the US site in Terre Haute, IN in 2014.
Her experience covers both R&D, bioanalysis and in-life phase projects for both preclinical and clinical studies, according to GLPs and GCPs standards. Michela’s experience also includes pharmacokinetics, residue studies, target animal safety studies (TASS), FDA regulated studies, AAALAC accreditation, and studies in ABSL2/BSL2 biocontainment facilities.
The research and teaching experience of Michela includes 12 publications in international journals, 1 book chapter on “Regulatory Pharmacology”, 12 oral communications in scientific congresses, and teaching molecular pharmacology and toxicology.
